We went to see the butterflies today at Dow Gardens. Here we are by the waterfall on the way.
There were hundreds of butterflies, and it was fun to try to get them to perch on your finger. Aaron even succeeded! When he went to see them the first time (last week), he was afraid of them--at least until the end when it was time to go. This time, he was very comfortable. They also had some yellow finches in a big cage in the greenhouse. Aaron loved them, too, as well as some Chinese quail. The baby quail were smaller than the big blue butterflies!

That is a neat 'grandkids' thing to do! And so close to home too. This time while your grandboys are little is so short... make the most of it and make LOTS of memories. Soon enough, Grandma and Grandpa will be 'JUST SO BORING!!!' :)
