The new paint on the house--it is a bit darker than the old, the red had faded quite a bit and the white needed refreshing after the insulation was installed, the sofit was replaced and the sloppy painter put gray on it!

We have been working on the house again this summer--I've painted three sides of the house, Cheryl painted the front porch (like she does every year!), I am working on reassembling and restoring an old dresser. We have also been reading some good books, and have just relaxed some days.

One year ago, we bought a nice little table for our kitchen discounted from an antique store--it was our anniversary gift to each other. Today, one month before our 35th anniversary, we got this table with a wide leaf so it can expand to a 4X6 foot from it's present 4 foot round. The color exactly matches the woodwork in our house. It was purchased from the Habitat for Humanity Restore and was very inexpensive. Happy anniversary to us! Hmmm...I wonder what is in store next year?

Everyone at Tilikum Camp has a "camp name". Nate is "Flash" and Lissa is "Spidey". So when we were there, we were there, we were "Ma-Flash" and "Pa-Flash". The Day Camp theme is based on Phil. 4:13, and daily skits teach various aspects of how we can live for Christ in His power. Counselors have a time daily where they teach the daily principle and answer questions from the campers.

Some more pictures of Tilikum Camp. The lake, Tree House and part of the challenge course.

These are some random shots from the last few days--Eric & Shelly, Bruce's house and some photos from camp. I've got to run now. More later.

This was a most exhilarating experience. As fun as any ride at Cedar Point!

Hear are a few shots of several we took of the camp and campers. The weather has been hot, but with shade and a breeze, it has been wonderful! Dan got to ride "Geronimo", an awesome swing that starts by being hoisted 40' into the air then dropped toward the earth, but ending in a gigantic swing over the lake. I will try to post the video clip of that. We will be with the Stuewe's for most of the weekend.
