We have the first three weeks of school behind us and it really looks like it will be a good year. We have two new additions to our Junior/Senior High staff, and they both seem to be interacting well with the students. It will also be a good year as Cheryl gave Dan the promise of a pie a month as an anniversary gift--and here is the first one--made of fresh peaches!! MmmmmMmmmmm! Aaron is rapidly changing (or is it that his parents are rapidly changing him??). Here is a shot of him sitting on Michael's knee. What a strong neck! Dan spent the day Saturday helping a crew of men from the church re-shingle the roof of one of the missionary houses and today his muscles are very sore (we will not detail the aches). Nate and Lissa are in their new apartment. God has blessed them in various ways with furnishings--and He has blessed Michael and Jenny with things in their house, and WE are blessed with seeing God work in their lives, as well as our own.

What cute grandson you have! And what a nice anniversary present! Mrs. Forbes, I still use your pie crust recipe I got from spending Thanksgiving with you. I hope a German chocolate pie is on the list. Yummy!
